TL;DR

4 sections: Current plan (tier + cost + next renewal) · Payment method (card or invoice) · Invoice history (downloadable PDFs) · Usage history (monthly metric trends). Free plan never expires — you can stay free indefinitely. Pro and Company have monthly + annual options (annual saves ~17%).

01Current plan

Top card shows tier, cost, billing frequency, next renewal date, and a "manage" link to upgrade/downgrade. Annual plans show months remaining; monthly shows next bill date.

02Payment method

Self-serve plans: credit card via Stripe. Update card directly in-app.

Company tier supports invoice billing (NET 30) with PO numbers. Set up via the sales-led upgrade flow or by contacting [email protected].

03Invoice history

All past invoices listed with date, amount, status, and PDF download. Up to 7 years of history retained.

04Usage history

Monthly trend lines for: briefs generated, Orbit slots used, custom bot runs, API calls (if any), seats. Useful for "are we trending toward overage?" or for capacity planning.

05Upgrade flow

Pick new tier → choose monthly or annual → enter payment method → confirm. Upgrade takes effect immediately, with prorated billing for the rest of the month.

Pro → Company upgrades route through sales because Company has custom contracting terms (SSO, audit retention, SLA).

06Downgrade and cancel

Downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Data is retained — you just lose feature access. Cancel entirely (delete workspace) takes 30 days with a 14-day "undo" window.

07Overage handling

Most plan limits are soft — when you hit them, Mama warns you in-app. Hard limits exist on briefs (capped per plan) and seats (capped per plan). On hard-limit overage you can either upgrade or wait for the next billing period.

Burst overage: Pro and Company plans allow 1.5× soft-limit usage for 14 days/year without auto-upgrading. Above that, Mama prompts for upgrade approval.

08Common mistakes

Not setting a backup payment method
If your primary card expires, your plan downgrades to Free automatically. Add a backup card.
Picking monthly when annual makes obvious sense
Annual saves ~17%. If you're committed for 6+ months, switch.
Downgrading right before a big push
Lost feature access can disrupt a campaign. Plan downgrades for periods when usage is lower.
