What we sync between Mama and Redshift.
The honest breakdown of what works today, what's partial, and what we deliberately don't ship. Capabilities marked Partial are Pro-plan only or in beta.
Bidirectional sync
Yes
Standard Fivetran connector — reads your Redshift tables, writes back to a Mama-managed schema.
Custom SQL signals
Yes
Define signals as SQL queries; Mama scores nightly.
Spectrum query support
Partial
Mama can read from Redshift Spectrum external tables on Pro plan.
WLM queue prioritization
No
Configure on your end — Mama doesn't set queue priority.
~15 minutes via Fivetran connector from clicking "Connect" to first scoring run.
Standard OAuth 2.0 install. No engineering work, no procurement call for the standard tiers.
- Sign in to Mama and open Settings → Integrations → Redshift.
- Click Connect. The OAuth window opens — sign in to Redshift and grant the requested scopes.
- Map your Mama workspaces to the right Redshift objects (Accounts/Organizations/etc).
- First sync runs immediately — usually completes in under 5 minutes for accounts ≤10k.
- Done. Briefs surface inside Redshift on the next scoring run, typically the morning after install.
Security note. Mama requests the minimum scopes needed for the capabilities above — no contact-export, no bulk-download of historical data. Read the security details or the data sources page for the full provenance trail.
Mama plugs into the rest of the stack the same way.
One OAuth click, capabilities documented honestly, no surprises in production.
Signal-anchored outbound, no theater
Connect your Redshift and see every account scored by tomorrow morning.
Free up to 100 accounts. No card. OAuth install in under 5 minutes. Cancel anything later from Settings → Integrations.
