Partner program · not yet · target Q1 2027

We don't have a partner program. Here's what we'd want it to look like.

Most pre-launch B2B companies set up a partner program before they have anything for partners to sell. We're not going to. The first version of this program launches when we have 50+ paying customers with repeatable use cases — currently zero of either. Below: what we're thinking, who we'd want in it, what we wouldn't do, and the conditions that would trigger us to actually build it.

If you're a consultancy looking for a launch partner spot — that's different
The launch partner program on the customers page is for teams using Mama in production — limited to 20 spots, 12 currently filled. That's distinct from this future partner program (which is about referring or reselling Mama). If you want to use Mama on your own outbound or your clients', start with launch partners — see the perks on /customers.
Where we are

The four-step path to launching this program for real.

A partner program needs paying customers to refer to, repeatable use cases for partners to recognize, and pricing stable enough to commit to commissions. We're not at any of those points yet. Here's the path.

Step 1 · Done
Build the product to "useful for partners' clients"
47 signals, brief generation, ICP rubric, 4 native CRM integrations live. Done — see /product.
Step 2 · Now
Get to 50+ paying customers with repeatable use cases
Currently 12 launch partners (not paying yet) onboarded. Self-serve launches summer 2026, paying customers Q3+. 50 customers is the bar.
Step 3 · ~ Q4 2026
Lock in pricing
Pricing has to be stable for 6+ months before we can commit to partner commissions. If we change pricing in Q3, we wait until late Q4 to lock.
Step 4 · Target Q1 2027
Launch v1 of the program
If steps 1–3 are clean, v1 launches with 20 hand-picked partners — same constraint discipline as the customer launch program.
When we do launch

Three archetypes of partner we'd actually invite.

Not "tier 1 / tier 2 / tier 3" — that framing rewards size over fit. Three specific kinds of partner, each with a specific job. We'd start with 5–7 partners per archetype, not 50, so we can actually support them.

Archetype 01
Outbound consultancies running Mama for their clients
Our origin audience. We came out of one. Consultancies running outbound for 3–10 B2B clients each — they'd use Mama for every client, share workflow knowledge with us, and earn a commission on each client workspace they spin up.
Commission: 20% recurring on workspaces they introduced, year one.
Asked for: case studies, workflow patterns, honest product feedback.
Not asked for: brand campaigns, attending events on our behalf.
Archetype 02
Integration partners — CRM + sequencer vendors with overlapping customers
Companies whose product Mama plugs into deeply (Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft, Pipedrive). Joint launch posts, mutual case studies, embedded co-sells where the overlap is real. We've already built the integrations; this is just formalizing the GTM.
Commission: referral fee only on net-new joint customers (one-time).
Asked for: integration co-launch, mutual customer interviews.
Not asked for: MDF, exclusivity, or any "preferred partner" theater.
Archetype 03
Independent operators who write about outbound
Newsletter writers, podcast hosts, conference circuit folks who already write/talk about outbound. Not influencer marketing — actual operators with credible audiences who'd use Mama and write about it honestly. Modest referral arrangement; the point is the reach, not the commission.
Commission: 10% recurring, year one, on referrals via a tracked link.
Asked for: honest reviews, even negative ones, published independently.
Not asked for: "sponsored" posts disguised as reviews. We strike those in edit.
Six things we won't do

Even after we launch, some partner playbook standards are off the table.

Most partner programs ship the same checklist. Some of those checkboxes are bad ideas at our scale, or run counter to the manifesto. Naming them up front saves later renegotiation.

Not in v1 · maybe never Six partner-program standards we're deliberately skipping.
No MDF (market development funds). Cash-for-co-marketing usually buys logos and slides, not customers. We'd rather the partner spend their own money on what they think works and we cover real costs separately.
No exclusivity or "preferred partner" tiers. Tiering rewards size over fit. If you're a 4-person consultancy and you're great for our customers, you get the same treatment as a 400-person firm.
No SPIFF or sales-driven incentives that incentivize bad-fit signups. We'd rather pay less on a recurring base than over-pay on a bounty. The whole product is about reducing wasted outbound; rewarding partners for spray would be ironic.
No deal registration with priority lockouts. Deal reg as a transparent record is fine. Deal reg used to block other partners from earning on the same account is not — it incentivizes hoarding and breaks fast.
No quotas on partners. If a partner doesn't refer in a year, that's information for us, not a reason to demote them. Most B2B partner programs over-promise on volume and then punish the partners.
No conferences, no booth presence, no swag exchange. If a partner wants to host us at a workshop their customers attend, we'll show up. We won't pay for table space at industry events as a "partnership marker."

Tell us when the partner program actually launches.

We won't email until v1 ships — currently targeted for Q1 2027. If we slip, you'll get one email explaining why. If we accelerate, you'll get one email saying it's open.

If you fit one of the three archetypes above and you'd want to be considered when invites go out, tell us which one in the field below the email. We'll keep a short list.

Notify-me list · ~ 40 on it
One email when v1 launches.
For more on what you're signing up for: we use this list only for the partner-program launch email, plus one slip note per quarter if we miss the target. Never anything else.

In the meantime — use the product.

The fastest path to becoming a great partner later is being a great customer now. Connect a CRM, see the working list on your accounts, and tell us what's missing. Most of the best partner-program ideas come from teams that have been using Mama for 6+ months.
